The workbook allows riders to progress through a series of exercises and tasks and then apply for the ANRC riding level certification by videotaping and submitting their performance. The ANRC awards 5 riding levels and is an affiliate of the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF). Volume 1 provides tools for the Introductory Level and Level One, and focuses on stabilization of the horse and why it is effective as a tool for both horse and rider, as well as development of the rider’s position that is necessary to create a stabilized horse.
